Zuiderkerk

The Zuiderkerk is a Protestant church built in the 17th-century close to Nieuwmarkt square and played an important role in the life of Rembrandt. In 1929 the Zuiderkerk ceased to be used for church services and in 1970 it was closed due to structural problems, which lead to the renovation of the church starting in 1975. After the renovation the church was mainly used for exhibitions and since 2012 the church can be rented for special events like the Econometric Game. The Game will take place in the main hall of the church, giving this edition a beautiful and unique location.
